I coach speakers, actors and singers to make the most of themselves, in meetings, auditions and performances.
I don’t follow a blue-print nor a set curriculum and I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. Every person has their own ways of learning, an individual voice, a particular talent, and different wants and needs – and these change over time. My lessons are tailored to each vocal identity, to help every student to achieve their goals.
I love helping people to have fun, to grow in confidence, and to achieve their aims.
The vocal techniques I teach allow students to sing the full musical range from opera to rock while keeping their voices safe from harm. As well as musical and vocal skills, students learn how to harness and use their emotions for a fully-rounded performance in their chosen genres.
Exams are optional. If students want to enter exams, I select grade and exam board to meet their needs. My students have excelled in ABRSM, Trinity and LAMDA exams.
I hold an ABRSM diploma in vocal teaching, and have taught singing, acting and presenting to a wide variety of children and adults for over 25 years. I am a member of the British Voice Association, which shares the latest research and best practice with clinicians, researchers, therapists and singing teachers.
