My marketing career

I am a Chartered Marketer, and was elected a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2023.

A creative, highly-motivated marketing professional, I have over 25 years’ wide-ranging marketing management experience, mostly in B2B services.

I’ve had a wonderful variety of marketing management roles in organisations as diverse as the NHS, a multi-national manufacturer, and a small training company. I’ve also supported a range of SMEs with freelance marketing consultancy, including an accountancy practice, an engineering company and a mindfulness coach.

I have managed marketing and communications in the NHS, a local authority, and a relocation firm; in not-for-profits and membership organisations; in training, engineering, manufacture, design management and landscape architecture.

I am experienced in strategic marketing planning, enews, PR, social media, news releases, advertising, and direct mail strategies.

My key skills include collaborating internally and externally to meet stakeholder needs within budget – whether that is in the hundreds of thousands, or just the hundreds.
