I am a lyric soprano and actor. My range is G3 to B5, and I’m experienced in opera, musical theatre and oratorio.

I’m very fortunate that I can switch between musicals, opera, oratorio and popular music.
Opera and light opera
I’ve been privileged to sing in performances from Verdi to Mozart with companies including Chambermade Opera and OperaWorks.
I sing Gilbert and Sullivan regularly in the cast of Grims Dyke Opera; I’ve also sung G&S for the Gilbert and Sullivan Society and White Knight.

Church music and oratorio
Career highlights include the premier of John Barnard’s ‘As the Deer Pants’ in St Albans Cathedral, the premiere of Elizabeth Ashwood’s ‘Magnificat’, and a tour of Belgium with Hillingdon Chorus and Orchestra singing the soprano solo in the Faure Requiem.
Musicals and entertainment
I sing at care homes and friendship cafes across London as well as at special events. I’ve toured in pantomime, children’s theatre and musicals. Favourite roles have included Jane in ‘Salad Days’, Eliza in ‘My Fair Lady’, and Marion in ‘The Music Man’.
Training
I qualified in opera at the South African College of Music, and then studied musical theatre on a scholarship at Hertfordshire Theatre School. I’ve also gained diplomas from Trinity College of Music and the ABRSM.
I’m fortunate to have studied with Albina Bini, Nellie du Toit, Andrew Downey, Ann-Louise Straker, and Theresia Van Sertima.
I have also taken part in masterclasses with Valerie Masterson, John Noble, Barbara Houseman and Katy Wolfe.

Anna in ‘The King and I’
I won the NODA London ‘Best Actress in a Musical’ award in 2014 for this role
