I’m an award-winning director of plays, musicals and opera.
I’ve been directing for over 25 years, starting with plays and then going on to musicals and opera.
My drama and opera school training, and professional performance experience, combined with being a NODA rep for eight years, means I know how to help companies give of their best, while making the experience a lot of fun.
I have directed for amateur companies including Richings Players, Digswell Players, Anchor, ROS Musical Theatre, St Giles Singers, Proscenium and Julian Light Opera Society.

Several of these productions have won awards. Most recently, in 2026 ROS MT’s production of ‘9 to 5’ won Lucy Gwynne-Evans the District 2 award for Best Actress in a Musical, JLOS’s production of ‘The Gondoliers’ won Ben Hancox-Lachman and Alex Kirstukas the London Region award for Best Male in an Opera, Operetta and G&S, and ‘The Gondoliers’ won the London Region Dorothy Lawson award for Best Performance of an Opera, Operetta or G&S. JLOS also won the District 2 Flame award for Excellence.
